Robert describes himself as a “cocktail” - his mother is Indonesian and father, Dutch. Like any other bartender, Robert started off working in dive bars, pubs and restaurants before he started mixing cocktails. He participated in and won several cocktail competitions. As he gained experience, he wanted to broaden his horizon and started mixing coffee before moving to tea.
He’s been known for his innovating recipes, both with and without alcohol, and his skill to create signature drinks for persons, occasions or properties.
In 2015 he launched his own spirit - Pekoe Tea liqueur - and it's the first premium range of tea liqueurs in the world. It's well-received in the industry and awarded with serveral prizes. Learn more about Pekoe
